My name is Tracey and I am currently based in the sprawling Shropshire countryside, a county full of history and rich with beautiful locations.
In my younger days I went to college on the Wirral and Liverpool, to study
Art and Graphic Design.
After 3 years of college work I got my first job as a Graphic Designer for a company called Design HQ.
I was with them for 12 years .
My life changed and for a while art was put to one side.
Until very recently after working 13 years with the British Red Cross, my love for drawing became a passion again.
I use Derwent Graphite pencils for most of my Black & White portraits, but more recently I have been using Faber - Castell Polychromo colour pencils, which have had a good response with customers.
My inspiration comes from my love of cats, which I currently have 4.
I love to draw their eyes first when building up the details.
They all have different personalities and I like to see that come through in my portraits.
Cats are in my soul and are great companions.
It felt right to combine both things that make me smile,
Cats and Art.
... and so PawsomePawtraits.art
was born.

Please bear in mind I haven’t met your pet so a few photographs will be helpful.
Please use natural daylight,
eg. outside or near a well lit window.
Remember not to use flash as this bleaches out fur and features.
